Together, they lovingly raised four children on the west side of Charlotte, moving home to Mint Hill in 1989. Alice was very active in the Ashley Park Community. She loved her church, her flower garden, cooking, sports, being a Scout Leader and volunteering in many community activities, but her greatest love was her family and friends.
