Amy Stevens

Amy Colleen Stevens, 41 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Friday, February 23, 2018 at Carolinas HealthCare System Main in Charlotte.

Mrs. Stevens was born January 17, 1977 in Arkansas to Oscar Kit Rodgers and Lisa Faye Rodgers.

Amy enjoyed using her hands making crafts. She was a very loving and free spirited person and never met a stranger.

A private memorial service will be held to celebrate Amy's life.

In addition to her parents, survivors include husband, Michael David Stevens of Albemarle; sons, Cade Mercell and Taren Mercell of Jane, Missouri; daughter, Azayla Carlisle of Albemarle, North Carolina; sisters, Sandi Gerstner and Janet Greer both of Arkansas and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your local Humane Society in your community in Amy's honor.
