Barbara Baker

Barbara Ann Tucker Baker, 71, of Stanfield, passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Atrium Health Main in Charlotte.

Mrs. Baker was born on October 4, 1950, to the late Jacob Lorenzo and Christine Love Tucker.

Barbara always kept up with her friends and co-workers. She retired from Phillip-Morris after over a decade of service. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and baking, watching her grandchildren, walking her dog, but loved spending time with her family the most.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:45 pm, on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at Love's Grove United Methodist Church, 4360 Polk Ford Road., Stanfield.. The funeral service will follow at 4:00 pm, officiated by Rev. James White. Burial will conclude in the church cemetery.

Barbara is survived by her husband, John Roger Baker; daughters, Christy Baker, Jennifer (Brian) Deaton; grandchildren, Mallory and Madison Deaton; brother, Bobby Wayne (Joyce) Tucker; granddog, Scooter.
