Bonnie Johnson

Bonnie Ruth Johnson, 61, of Burlington, passed away Monday, August 29, 2022 at her home.

Bonnie was born March 11, 1961 in North Carolina to the late William James Hodges Jr. and the late Phyllis Ann Hodges.

Mom was very special to everyone. We will always cherish the memories we had. She would love to sit in the rocking chairs on the porch at the beach. She loved going to church. She loved spending time with family. She was a very strong woman and stood up for what she believed in. She loved her dogs. If you needed someone late night to talk to or rant to you could count on her. Until we meet again we love you mom.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Universal House of Prayer. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Universal House of Prayer in Concord,  officiated by Pastor Randy Lefler. Burial will follow at West Concord Cemetery located at 331 Union Cemetery Rd SW, Concord.

Survivors include husband, Ronnie Johnson;  children, Crystal Stamper, Robert Johnson, Ronald Johnson and Kimberly Helms; 15 grandchildren; and sister, Ann Medlin.
