Edna Bolin

Edna Ruth Bolin, 94, of Harrisburg, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Atrium Health Cabarrus Hospital in Concord.

Edna was born December 30, 1927 in South Carolina to the late Arthur Herbert Pregnall and the late Edna Elizabeth Pregnall. She was also preceded in death by husband, Reverend Wyman Bolin.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm, Friday, November 18, 2022, at North Albemarle Baptist Church, 401 Park Ridge Road, Albemarle, NC.  The funeral service will follow the visitation, officiated by Reverend Bruce League and Reverend Jonathan Blaylock. Burial will follow at Stanly Gardens of Memory at 2001 East Main St., Albemarle.

Edna was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great and great-great grandmother.  She met her husband Wyman in Orangeburg SC, and was happily married for over 50 years.  Edna was a very dedicated, Proverbs 31, minister's wife.  Some of her favorite pastimes included cooking, writing poetry, and coloring, but she especially enjoyed teaching the Word of God.

Survivors include daughters:  Maureen Floro of Harrisburg, NC, Ann Eudy of Oakboro, NC, Sharon Hayes of Clayton, NC, and Wendy Hatley of Albemarle, NC; grandchildren: Christy, Merideth, Ashley, Camille, Joshua and Tiffany; great-grandchildren: Joseph, Bryson, Maddy, Elijah, Shaphan, Nolan; great-great grandchild, Kade Wyman; and family friend, Rusty.
