Florence Watson

Florence Josephine Harrison Watson, 97, of Misenheimer, NC passed away Monday, December 27, 2021 at her home.

Jody was born May 19, 1924 in San Francisco, CA to the late John Wilson Harrison and the late Florence Harrison. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 42 years, John Landis Watson, Sr. who passed away in 1988; sons, John Landis Watson, Jr. and Jay Wilson Watson; and sister, Mary Jane Pappas.

There will be a service at a later date.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Jane (Phil) VanDuyn, and sons, James Harrison Watson, Jeffrey George Watson; daughter-in-laws, Laurie Watson and Diane Watson; and sister-in-law, Elizabeth Watson.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Jody's long term caregiver, Edie Gaither, for her compassionate care.
