Howard Chaney

Howard Milton Chaney, 72, of Concord, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 19, 2018.

He born May 6, 1946 in North Carolina to the late John and Sudie Chaney . Howard was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, and planting his garden.  He was a very hardworking man that was very giving.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The funeral service will be on Saturday at 6:00 pm also at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland.

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Matthew Fowler.

Survivors include wife, Pat Chaney; daughters, Lisa Fowler, Linda Thomas (Gary), Cassie Chaney (Lesley); son, Jonathan Chaney; brother, John A. Chaney III; sister, Hilda Troutman; grandchildren, Madison Fowler, Destiny Thomas, and Sydney Thomas.
