Kimberly Solaris

Kimberly Hendrix Solaris, 43, of Midland, entered the gates of Heaven on Friday, February 25, 2022.

Kim was born May 31, 1978, in Charlotte to the late James Hendrix and the late Linda Kay Rice Hendrix.

Kim had a long enjoyable career at Charlotte Metro Credit Union, which spanned 20+ years.  She had an infectious smile and a carefree spirit.  Kim loved being around people.  Her warm, bubbly personality will be unforgettable.  She would always make you laugh and would light up a room when she'd walk in.  Most of all, Kim was a loving wife, mother, MawMaw, sister, and aunt.  She was the strength of our family, will be dearly missed and forever loved.

Survivors include Kim's beloved husband, Chad Solaris; daughters, Taylor (Joshua) Blackburn and Peyton Solaris; granddaughters, RaeLynn and Paisley Blackburn; sisters, Lisa O'Neill and June (Matthew) Hatfield; brothers, Jimmy (Anita) Hendrix and Jody Hendrix; and many nieces, nephews, and other loved ones.

In honor of Kim, please consider wearing a purple item to her services.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm, Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Harrisburg.  Kim's Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 3, 2022, at Northside Baptist Church, 333 Jeremiah Blvd, Charlotte, officiated by Rev. Michael Landrum.  Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, Harrisburg.
