Lana Hathcock

Lana Kay Mooney Hathcock, 67, of Concord, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018 at home with family by her side.

Lana was born February 1, 1951 in Rockwell, NC to the late Harry and Virginia Mooney.  She was also preceded in death by Jack, Bobby and Ronnie Mooney.

Lana retired after 48 years as Vice President of Loans Operations with Bank of America.  She was a member of Rocky River Church, Concord.  Lana was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She loved spending time with her family and her dogs.  She really enjoyed the family vacations at the beach.  She was always giving, which made Christmas her favorite holiday.

Survivors include beloved husband of 18 years, Doug Linker; son, Brian (Nicole) Hathcock of Harrisburg; daughter, Jennifer H. (Jeremy) Hatley of Concord; three grandsons, John-Riley and Will Hathcock, and Noah Hatley; step-daughter, Amanda (Jeremy) Prevette of Concord; step-son, Derek (Erika Bowling) Linker of Concord; and four step-granddaughters, Kimber and Tessa Prevette, and Makena and Madelyn Linker.

A memorial service to celebrate Lana's life will be held 3:00 pm, Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord, officiated by Rev. Jimmy Britt. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
