Mary Honeycutt

Mary Frances Furr Honeycutt, went home to be with the Lord at the age of 87 in her home, surrounded by her loving family on Friday, November 26, 2021.

Frances was born on May 9, 1934, in Stanly County, NC. She graduated from Stanfield High School in Stanfield, NC in 1952. Frances took pride in caring for her husband, children, and grandchildren over the years. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her joy! Frances was an active member of Harmony Baptist Church in Harrisburg, NC.

Frances Honeycutt is survived by her first love and husband of 69 years, R.H.​ Honeycutt, their three children; Rex Honeycutt (Chris), Cathy Taylor (Jeff), Eddie Honeycutt (Lisa), their seven grandchildren; Amber Johnson (Clint), Afton Honeycutt, Jeff Taylor, Jr. (Nichole), Ashley Horne (Steve), Amanda Honeycutt, Heather Venrick (Austin), Taylor Gobble (Trent), and their eleven great-grandchildren; Kirsten and Maddox Johnson, Bailey and Kalyn Taylor, Mya and Elijah Horne, Isabella and Oliver Venrick, Luke and Aston Claar, and Corbin Gobble. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, John and Lizzie Mullis, and four great-grandchildren.

Frances will be remembered for her love, her welcoming spirit, and her fiery personality.

Visitation will be 1:00 pm, funeral at 2:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord, NC on Monday, November 29, 2021. Graveside service will be at First Baptist Church of Stanfield in Stanfield, NC. Services will be officiated by pastors Mike Culler and David Snow.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Carrieanne, Megan, Jennifer and Beverly with Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County for their constant support and to Chris Honeycutt and Carolyn Brock for the care, love and attention given to Frances during the last several months.
