Nancy White

Nancy Carol White, 78, of Kannapolis, NC passed away Monday, August 15, 2022, at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte with her family by her side.

Nancy was born April 28, 1944, in Bethesda, MD to the late Captain John Philip Lunger and the late Marjorie Volker Lunger. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Whilden “Bill” Earl White.

Survivors include her sons, John White and wife Mary of Locust, NC, Robert White of Concord, NC, and Ken White and wife Lori of Midland, NC; grandchildren, Katherine, Matthew, Caroline, Lauren, Whilden, Harrison, Carter and Noah White that brought immense joy to her life; brother, George Lunger and wife, Betsy of Louisville, KY; sister, Sally Hoffmann and husband, Bill of Atlanta, GA; and nieces and nephews.

The family would like to acknowledge the assistance of the following special people in Nancy’s life that allowed her to remain at home with her dog, Molly; Mia Barbee, Keely Brown, Shirley Harper, Jessica Collins, Shelley Collins, Kimberley Barron, Rachel Gilbert, Maia Ferrer, Kenya Ventour, Tiffany Yelton and Amy Butine.

A celebration of Nancy’s life will be held at a later date.
