Robert Honeycutt

Robert Brian Honeycutt, 35 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away suddenly on Monday, May 21, 2012 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle. Mr. Honeycutt was born July 25, 1976 in Jacksonville, Florida to Danny Rash and Frances Colleen Honeycutt Huneycutt of Albemarle. He was an employee for Winston Salem South Bound Railroad. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 23, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be at 4 p.m., Thursday, in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Tim Whittington and Rev. Rick Clough. At other times, the family will meet at his home. Survivors include his loving wife of eight years, Karen Elaine Tucker Honeycutt, of the home; his son, Carmen, and his daughter, Emma, of the home; his parents; his sisters, Brandi Searles and Vicki Gosslin, both of Albemarle and Wendi Davis of Asheville; his grandparents, Nellie Jo and Robert Honeycutt of Albemarle; his mother-in-law, Tangy Cornett and her husband, Chris; his father-in-law, Randy Tucker and his wife, Marie; and special friends, John Whitley, Kathy Almond, and Joyce Morton.
