Ronald Craft

Ronald James Craft, 63, of Concord, entered his eternal heavenly home on Friday, February 11, 2022.

Ron was born December 12, 1958 in Parkersburg, WV to the late Larrell B. Craft and the late Naomi Jean Staats Craft of Vienna, WV.

Ron graduated from Parkersburg High School in 1977 and from Montreat College in 2002.  He began his working career as a carpenter with Williams Brothers Construction.  He went on to be the general manager for two different car dealerships.  In 1989, he joined Archway Cookies as regional sales manager.  In 2004, he joined Gimbal's Fine Candies as the VP of sales, where he worked until his semi-retirement in 2019.  After retirement, Ron returned to work as a carpenter and loved every minute of it.  Ron was a strong man of faith, having been saved July 17, 1977, and loved his family with all his heart, especially being "Poppy" to his granddaughters.  He loved to golf, enjoyed anything racing and talking about the Lord.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 32 years, Judy Wright Craft; sons, Joel (Meredith) White of Concord, NC, and Ryan (Chassy) Craft of Denver, NC; three beautiful granddaughters, Gracie Kay White, Emory Iva White and Paisley Rose Craft; sister, Debbie (Billy) Lerch of Vienna, WV; as well as extended family and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 1:45 pm, Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at The Refuge Church in Kannapolis.  The celebration of life service will follow at 2:00 pm, officiated by Pastor Jay Stewart. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis.
