Solon Hinson, Iii

Solon Henry Hinson III, 62, of Mint Hill, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Novant Health Hospice Unit in Charlotte.

"Henry" was born July 22, 1955 in Mecklenburg County, to the late Solon Henry Hinson II and the late Helen Burris Hinson.
He was also preceded in death by brother, Clyde "Junior" Chappell, and grandparents, Bessie Mae and Martin Fink.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Friday, June 22, 2018 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The funeral service will be on Saturday at 11:00 am at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland and will be officiated by Pastor Clyde David Robinson. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 5716 Monroe Rd, Charlotte, NC.

Survivors include daughter, Sarah (Shawn) Robinson of Fort Mill, SC; son, Solon Henry Hinson, IV of Pageland, SC; sister, Sonya Hinson of Midland; brother, Phillip (Sharon) Chappell of Rock Hill, SC; brother, Todd (Shelly) Hinson of Unionville; two grandchildren, Belle and Link Robinson; three nephews, Duke, Justin, and Chance Kiker; and one niece, Nicole Hinson.
