Terry Wayne Klassette, 60, of Concord, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville.
Terry was born on July 27, 1957 in Charlotte, North Carolina to the late Fred William Klassette and Nancy Carol Klassette.
Terry knew in his younger days he had fuel in his blood. He loved to watch drag racing, NASCAR - #3 Dale Earnhardt, working on small engines, buying and selling hot rods, riding his motorcycle and on his down time, going fishing.
Terry leaves to carry on life's memorable moments, his three children: Jamie Wayne (Andyel) Klassette of Concord, NC; daughter, Kelly Nicole Klassette of Charlotte, NC; and step-son, Chris Michael Hinson of Waxhaw, NC. Along with his loving and caring sisters, Sylvia D. (Rick) Chapman and Cathy K. Nelson, both of Charlotte, NC. His other sister Donna K. Seeger will finally be able to hug her brother for the first time since she went to be with the Lord on July 3, 2016.
Terry really enjoyed his six grandchildren, Victoria Hinson, Justin Klassette, Jacob Hinson, Jamie Klassette, Jr., Abigail Klassette and Tenley Hinson. There was nothing he wouldn't do for them. Now they will always have an angel looking over them.
Family, friends and others whose lives Terry touched are invited to Hartsell Funeral Home, 12115 University City Blvd., Harrisburg, NC 28075 from 6 - 7pm, Monday, June 18, 2018 with the funeral service to follow at 7pm, officiated by Rick Cochran. Interment will be private. We will celebrate Terry's life and glorify the One from whom it came and will be with in eternity.
Terry was definitely a fighter. His favorite quote was, "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Philippians 4:13
